I was reading the new News letter about what's safe to drink? and there was a peppermint flavored water mention, such as Metromint. What is it and can you buy it anywhere.
Thanks, eva

Heather, maybe you can help since it was in your newsletter.
I need to know were you can find the peppermint water such as Metromint for abdominal pain, spasms, or cramps. I'm afraid to try the peppermint gel since my daughter has a hiatal Hernia. But will like to try something with the Peppermint since it helps with abdominal pain.
Thanks Eva, for my child

If you go to the Metromint web page you can put your zip code in and find a store that carries it in your area. At the top I clicked on 'get metromint' and then store locator. It then asks for your zip code.

Good Luck

It looks and sounds interesting. Has anyone tried it yet? I was wondering how strong of a peppermint flavor it has.

I really like the peppermint flavored one. It tastes like peppermint gum...or maybe like gum that you dropped in your water Anyway, it's not too overwhelming, but it does leave you with a very fresh minty taste in your mouth.

I've seen it in the bottled water and soda pop sections. It's very widely available.

Best,

At the store where I work it is in the Natural Foods section. Also another great bottled drink is the Ginger People ginger drink. It isn't carbonated. I buy it at Co-ops and at World Market. If you are fructose sensitive, it has honey as the sweetener.

Now I'm going to see if I can find both of these drinks.
I've giving my daughter several herbal teas and cranberry, but have tried to look for something else. She stomach still hurting and maybe the peppermint will help with the pain, I sure hope so.
Y'all are all so Great, don't know what I would have done without all of you.
BIG Thanks, eva

I presume you mean that it may not be safe for fructose sensitive people because honey has nearly as much excess fructose as HFCS
