Heather,
I just wanted to thank you for doing this for us. After being on these boards for a couple of days, I can't imagine how I ever lived without them! Also, I have noticed that there are a lot of people who seem to have their symptoms relatively controlled that are offering advice. Thank you to those people who are dedicating their time to help the ones who are suffering! There aren't words to express my gratitude!

I second that! I would never have known how to control my symptoms if it weren't for Heather's books. My doctor and nutritionist really didn't know how to help me--I was put on a prescription that gave me horrible cramping and bloating, and was relieved to be able to stop taking them when I started following the IBS diet.
I do think it's important for us to have an online community to come to for help. None of my friends knows the extent of my "issues," and it makes a tremendous difference to be able to communicate with other people who understand.
