Does IBS go in to remission? THe stomach aches went away for such a long time, and then all of the sudden, I gotten bad D and cramps again for straight 3 days. Whats going on here?

Hi - one of the hallmarks of IBS is that it is a chronic problem but the symptoms are intermittent. So you're 100% normal here - things tend to be good for most people for a while (especially if they're managing their diet and stress) and then they'll have a flare. The good thing is that the longer you stay stable, the easier it should be to snap back, so take things easy for a few days, stick to soluble fiber foods, relax, and remember that this is very likely to quickly pass and you'll be feeling better soon.
