Why need to use the fiber supplmts if eating high soluble fiber faithfully

Hi,
The longer I continue to eat CONSISTENTLY according to this diet, the better I'm feeling!  However, I'm now wondering why I need to also use the soluble fiber supplmts if I'm eating at home safely every day per this diet?
Would it be OK to just use the supplmts when I'm going to be eating away from home ie: use them on days when I'm not able to control my diet to be sure it's 100% safe? Thanks.

Hi - this really depends on how stable you are, and how regularly you can eat soluble fiber foods. You might well find that you only need the supplements when traveling, or when you're under extra stress, or just feeling a bit unstable. It's easy to just add the supplements back in as needed. If you're eating plenty of soluble fiber foods, you should be able to jump right back into a supplement at a pretty high dose, and not work up from a teeny tiny introductory dose.
