I have IBS-c so I went to my Dr. (after trying everything else) and he put me on Zelnorm. Well that was last friday and I haven't had a BM since. I stop taking it on tueday after a bad attack. And I have taken all my solible fiber and everything else and I still haven't had a BM I guess it dosn't work for me to bad because I was really hoping it would . Has anyone else had this problem? And should I tell my Dr. about it? I really feel like I want to go in for a colonic but I know that isn't good for IBS I did it for 5 years and I would love to do it agian any thoughts on that?
Thanks Anita

Hi - I'd call your doc about this. If anything, Zelnorm will send people from C to D, especially when they're new to the drug and trying to find the right dosage. You may not be taking enough of it, or there may be something else going on. But I've never heard of Zelnorm worsening constipation...
