I have the IBS-C and have heeded the advice to switch to soy protein, but just a question, I have noticed most protein bars are part soy, part whey. Will the whey be harder to digest slowing down the process even more? Should I stick mainly to 100% bars/shakes?

Hi- Yes, avoid whey altogether. It's a dairy protein and is a trigger for a lot of folks with IBS. It's particularly bad for constipation. I really wish they wouldn't sneak it into so many things. Stick to 100% soy protein powders and bars instead.

Best,
Heather
