Hi everyone, thanks for the advice and encorgement a month or two ago...I'm going to travel soon, and have been having mild success with fibre supplements etc, but am concerned about my bowel going 'on strike' when away from home. The surgeon who did my original colonoscopy recommended zelnorm but after reading about it, I see it's only recommended for women...Not being a woman, I saw this as a problem!

Can males use zelnorm? If not, anyone know if there are any other things to take for IBS-C if zelnorm won't do the trick?

Hi - I haven't seen any news about Zelnorm for men, but I would suggest you start to increase your soluble fiber supplement (unless you're already at max dose). Dose info is here web page

Take along helpful herbal teas, bottled water, and the supplements while you travel - that will help keep you stable. And try to get some type of exercise in (go walking, climb stairs at the hotel, stretch out in your room, use the gym if there's one there, etc.).

Best,
Heather
