I am 12 days post gall bladder surgery (gall bladder was removed) and my IBS-C is much better. I have had a bowel movement every day. It's still a hard consistancy, and not very large, but I am going every day which is a miracle for me. Anyone else have the same experience? Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? My diet has not changed. I was eating low fat before and now am still eating low fat.

Hi- Many people suffer chronic diarrhea after gallbladder removal. Since you were c before, it sounds like you're now just normal instead. What's happening is that bile acids are being dumped directly into your intestines (instead of stored in your gallbladder), causing irritation, and thus increased bowel motility.
