I've posted a few questions but I really haven't introduced myself. I'm Nicole and I have IBS-C. I am soooooo happy because since I've started following the guidelines of Heather's IBS diet I feel soooooo much better. The general pain associated with my IBS has decreased a whole lot. I'm just trying to figure out exactly how to keep bloating and gas/gas pains under control, which as I've searched seems to be something that's hard to keep under control without constant fennel tea drinking

One of the recipes that has been great for me is the Fig Chutney. I absolutely love it. I eat it with turkey breast and sour dough bread and mmmmmmmm. At first I was aprehensive and thought some of the ingredients would not agree with me, but nope. All was great. One of the great things besides it tasting to good is that it doesn't give me IBS pains, bloating OR gas! Isn't that great?? I sure think it is. It makes me want to eat it all the time. And it's incredibly easy to make.
