I have a quick question. I am getting ready to make the salmon with nutty wheat berries recipie again. Does anyone know if the berries are supposed to serve as the soluble fiber for the whole plate? Last time I made it with a baked potato, but was thinking, man I think these berries are supposed to take the place of the soluble fiber.

I don't know, but the recipe sure does make a lot of wheat berries to put on top of the salmon. (Atleast that's what dh & I thought.) I tend to think of the wheat berries as IF. Are they soluble fiber?

Hi, I would guess that they are mostly INSOLUBLE. I would definitely have a nice safe baked potato with that. Sounds like a yummy recipe!
