Pages: 1 Yeast/Candida-Sore throat?       #137465 - 01/11/05 06:40 PM Edit Reply Quote court10 Reged: 10/06/04 Posts: 45 I have the most horrible sore throat and my tongue was white earlier. I went to the doctor and I don't have mono or strep. I just got off antibiotics for my throat which didn't help. The doctor gave me nystatin which kills off yeast, I kind of hinted that that is what is could be. Would it cause my throat to hurt this bad? I am not sure if i should take the nyastin. Any comments/suggestions would be helpful.
