You know what, I have a ton of laundry to fold and chores to get done while the kids are napping but I'm full of questions today and darnit I'm gonna sit here and ask them!! I'd never eaten fresh papaya before today - I really like the taste and texture, but it is expensive (1.69 each at the grocery!) and (you're going to laugh at me on this one) I had a hard time getting through it because those seeds in there? They just come spilling out, and I swear look just like maggots! Am I ridiculous or what? Any other way to get papaya besides buying and eating them fresh?

The only other way I know is papaya juice. But I have the worst time trying to find it, even though it does wonders for my stomach.

Hi - Here's what you do with the seeds: -cut the papaya lengthwise -use a spoon to scrape out all the seeds - scoop out the fruit and enjoy! -tastes good with a bit of lemon on it
Health food stores sell the dried kind, not sure how it is with digestion though. Asians like the fresh papaya - helps with tummy stuff (I am Thai). My parents eat papayas for breakfast + some other stuff.
Happy papaya eating

Papaya is a great digestive enzyme.
The fresh is better, but you can get it as a supplement and you can also get it as a supplement with chlorophyll added which can help the smell of gas, just fyi
These are the ones I sometimes take and they are pretty cheap really and I don't have anything to do with the company fyi

Papain in papaya helps to digest proteins and so does Protease.
