Hi,
I'd like to get started again on doing some yoga. I did a few months of Hatha yoga in the past, and I loved it but it killed my hands and i stopped going. I've had tendonitis on and off in my wrists for years. So, I could use something without lots of "downward dog" and other poses with weightbaring on the hands. Any ideas? Thanks = Dan

If you got "OM Yoga in a Box" the CD lesson is split into sections so you could miss out sun salutation, etc and just do the seated/standing poses etc. It's great to be able to mix and match. The warm-up does include downward facing dog, but maybe you'd be okay just doing it then...or maybe you could ease into the other sections?

I just received a "Chair Yoga" DVD that I haven't watched yet..I'll let you know if it seems appropriate for you and your sensitive wrists. I actually got it for my husband who has limited flexibility in his hips due to extensive reconstructive surgery. I'm hoping he'll take to it, but you never know.

and absolutely loves it. He also says it's a surprisingly good workout, and he was quite sore the first week. I'd imagine if chair yoga works for him (the whole class is actually seniors) it would certainly be easy enough on the wrists for someone who has that sensitivity.
