I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but what about tai chi for ulcerative colitis (UC) & digestive health?
I've had UC for just over a year and I recently started taking a tai chi class at a local rec. centre and am really enjoying it. Will this be beneficial at all to controlling flareups and improving digestion? As an aside, I've also been following the diet recommended in Eating for IBS (for about 2 mos.) and it is helping me tremendously.

I have been wondering this too, as there are no yoga classes near me, but there is one for tai chi. Does anyone know how they compare in helping with IBS?

There's a chapter on this in the First Year IBS book - I'm not sure if that chapter is on the site or not - if it is it will be under the IBS Books section, then under the First Year IBS pages.
In a nutshell, tai chi is great for digestive health, so keep it up!
