Thank you so much for the brownie recipe in the December newsletter! My wife was diagnosed, finally, with IBS earlier this year. Heather's book, and this web site/chat board, have made my wife's life so much better that I cannot describe it.

She came home last night, surprised that the kids and I made a "tummy-friendly" brownie recipe for her. Tesslouisa's Antidepressant Brownies are not only easy to make, but tend to disappear almost instantly! This is probably the single best recipe that my wife has enjoyed, as she was finally able to enjoy that chocolate/brownie craving again without fear of suffering for it. Thank you!

Again, thank you to all who post and help make dealing with IBS better for everyone, including spouses who support IBS'ers.

Cheers.
Peter

That was so sweet of you to make her brownies. Chocolate is the way to a women's heart. LOL

Hi, Peter! WOW, what a great companion you are for someone with IBS! Not only do you go into a website to find support for your spouse, but you try some of the recipes for her as well! I am SOOO impressed. I can tell you, it is really great having someone support you when you have an "attack." When I am so sick I can't get up from the chair, and my husband asks me if he can make me some peppermint tea, I am so grateful, I wonder if it's the tea that makes me feel better -- or if it's my considerate husband. You're a gem, Peter!
Bev.

You sound so sweet Peter. I would love it if my fiance made brownies for me. I love those things!

Btw, I finally answered a question of my own recently... It's fine to freeze the Brownie mixture so that you can make smaller, more frequent batches (or just more batches!!! - it is Christmas after all ).

Thanks for the message. Everyone here is too nice. That is great news that the brownie batter can be frozen. I will make it in at least double batches from now on.

Have a great day!
