Can anyone tell me if it's absolutely necessary to use the whole wheat pastry flour in the recipe for linguine with wild mushrooms dish? I know I won't use it for anything else and hate to buy it just for 3 tbls.- has anyone ever substituted regular flour with good results? Please let me know-thanks! Linda

I don't think there would be a problem substituting - I'd say go for it!
