I made this recipe last night. I wanted something I could take to work as leftovers and boy do I have leftovers. This is a wonderful low fat Indian dish. I just loved it!
Chickpea or Chicken Curry
My curry powder is really spicy, but the raisins and apples added the right amount of sweetness. I threw some chicken in too since I had it on hand. Mmmm...yummy!
I also had frozen Naan (traditional Indian flatbread) from our local Indian grocery store that went wonderfully with this meal. I can't wait for lunch!

Yeah, the recipe does make quite a bit. I used to make a batch and take it to work for my friend Lynn and I, and we'd end up eating it for 3 days!
Anyway, I'm glad you made it and loved it! It's always been one of my favorites.

I made this tonight for dinner. Yum!! I have tried other chicken curry recipes before ibs, and this is by far the best!! Thanks for sharing, this will be a regular meal for us from now on since we love indian food. I just wish I had been able to find an Indian grocery store to get the naan. Chantel

Chickpeas like most legumes (including beans and lentils) are high FODMAP foods that can worsen IBS symptoms.

if you have trouble with them try substituting a different type of bean or lentil.
