I made this from Eating for IBS about a week ago and it was delicious!
I had put off making it for a long time because I couldn't find clam broth. I found clam juice everywhere, but no clam broth. I finally found a can of Bookbinder's Clam Juice that said I could make clam broth by adding butter to the juice and simmering it. I bought the Bookbinder's Clam juice and used it in the recipe along with a little more oil than Heather calls for. It was great and I suspect it would have been just as good even if I hadn't increased the oil.
Today I made Kree's Manhattan Clam Chowder and that was delicious, too.

Feel free to sub one for the other without making any change at all.

Thanks, Heather. I've always been kitchen-impaired (although that's changing as I cook for this diet), so substitution doesn't come naturally. Using clam juice for clam broth was a huge step for me - I'm glad to know I didn't commit some horrible culinary blunder.
