UK recipe substitues

In the UK what can be used instead of Corn Chex,Rice Chex, cornmeal and sourdough bread? I am new to the IBS diet. johnjulie@nireland38.fsnet.co.uk

Can't help with the Chex or cornmeal, but, If you can't get sourdough try to get a good fresh baked french bread or rolls. As long as it isn't whole wheat or full of preservatives like the prepackaged breads. Fresh baked is really good.
As far as cornmeal, do you have any ethnic food stores in your area? Someplace that might sell Mexican or Spanish groceries?
