Hi Wolfie, Where did you find specific information about the fiber wafers? I went to the website and could only find the price and the flavors, but nothing in detail about the ingredients found in the wafers.
Thanks, Barb

Hi! Just wondering (and maybe I'm missing something here, and if so, sorry), are the wafers anything like the Metamucil wafers or are they different?
Thanks!

Hi, Wolfie, Did I read the word 'oat bran' in your message??? Isn't that the stuff doctors used to advise IBS sufferers to eat and which made their IBS worse? I thought oat bran was THE embodiment of insoluble fibre!? I can't have any oats anymore, let alone oat bran...
I hope you'll be fine with it anyway

Surprisingly, oat bran is very high in soluble fiber and for folks who do okay with oatmeal, oat bran is usually just fine. Now wheat bran, on the other hand, is pure insoluble fiber, and that is the kiss of death for a lot of people...and yet it is what a lot of docs and dietitians still recommend for their IBS patients...despite the fact that there have been clinical studies out for more than ten years showing most IBS folks do not get better, but worse, when taking wheat bran.

Do you take these in place of citricel? Do they work the same way as citrical?
