Thanks for all your good wishes everyone but unfortunately it didn't work so I won't be in hospital on Monday having my eggs collected.
Apparently my ovaries have decided to be in the 1% (Yes 1% only and it had to be me - how frustrating!) that do not want to respond to follicle stimulating hormone. Most women respond with about 15 eggs on the dose I'm on.
Anyway, the plan of action is to up the dose for the next 4 days and see my doctor on Monday for a scan to see if we have an improvement.
I'm trying to be positive and keep things normal especially as I don't want to upset the IBS (it's already flaring due to the hormones) but it's hard not to be down over it all. It's just so unbelievable that I am doing all this to try and have a baby and it still won't happen.
I'll keep you posted with any progress and I am very thankful for your support.
Kerrie

Kerrie, i am so sorry that your ovaries are still not responding despite your efforts Doesnt it seem so unfair sometimes that theres these 15 yrs old girls, drunks, heroine addicts, ect that can have babies and dont even want them, and some good, honest people (like you) try their butt off and sometimes still cant have one? Oh well, I sure, fate will take its toll and give you another little child if i were ment to be

Kerrie - I wish there was something more to do than say I'm so sorry it didn't work for you. It just breaks my heart that you're having such a tough time. I guess if it was meant to be, it will happen. I will keep praying for you.
Good luck with the next dose, and stay positive.

Dear Kerrie,
Praying that God will draw near to you in your great disappointment. In Psalm 34:18, the Bible says: "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit." In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds." I'm praying that as He draws near to you, you will feel His comforting embrace, as He cradles you next to His heart.
Blessings, Kaybee C
