Just a quick question. Is it important to increase [acacia]dosage? I`ve been doing well on starting amount.

if you're stable at your current dose, you can stay there!

Hi Big,
Don't tell anyone, but I'm off SFS all together. I've taken Fibercon, Citrucel, Acacia, and Benefiber, and I've had a tough time of it, to say the least. I've gone from the maximum dosage to the minimum dosage. I've had extreme gas (constant, 24/7), bloating, URGENT D, cramps, and terrible nausea. I've sat on the pot while holding a chamberpot under my mouth. In all other respects, I've stuck STRICTLY to the program. But in this aspect, I've had to give it up entirely. As soon as I did, I returned to my normal self; all symptoms disappeared.
Be careful. Be REAL alert to how your body reacts to the different dosages.
Bev

Ouch to that fiber story. Your right though I`ve stuck to the diet but was still a bit D still. Acacia & fennel tea brought it all home for me. I`m staying at my starter dosage. Don`t mess w/success. Thanks Bevrs
