Linzy, I started out with the Dark Roast, but it's pretty strong. I'm going to order the Original Roast next. While another gal on the Boards likes the French Vanilla, I've never been very fond of any of those flavored coffees, but if you are, you might consider either that or the Mocha. Hazelnut? Almond Amaretto? Chai? Special House Blend?
Oh, I SOOOO love this stuff! I thinik I'm going to go sit out on my balcony and have a cup of COFFEE! (Boy, does that feel good!)

Wow, that's so cool. So tell us, does it taste like real coffee or close enough? And the most important question, it doesn't cause d or any digestion problems does it? If it's safe, I might try it too. I guess it's caffeine free though? They need to make one with natural caffeine so we can all get that kick back in our steps.

I wanted to tell you too...I haven't taken a lomotril in awhile now. I'm finding that Equalactin is doing the trick if I feel those rumbles coming on. In fact...I'm having a harder time going than ever before. In some ways it feels good for a change!

I just ordered some dark roast. I have been a serious coffee drinker since I was 12 ... I know that's insane, but if you've ever known any Lebanese people, it's pretty common. I have missed coffee so much, more than cheese, even. I can't wait to try this stuff! Thanks for taking the first plunge

You have to order it online: SoyFee Web Page
I'm drinking the Dark Roast right now. It's pretty strong, really stronger than I like my coffee, so I just ordered some Original Roast and some Mocha. I'm not much on flavored coffees, but they also have: House Blend, Almond Amaretto, Hazelnut, French Vanilla and Chai.
It's expensive, averaging about $1.00 per ounce. You can order either 10 oz. or 5 lb. Once I decide which flavor I like best, I'll order the 5 lb. size because you save a lot; it's $56 for 5 lb., and if your order is over $100 you save the shipping and handling.
It's absolutely fabulous stuff, truly as good as real coffee. And I'm REALLLY fussy! I have about 4 cups every morning, and I like knowing I'm doing something good for my body. Drinking 4 cups of soy is a good thing -- especially when you're menopausal and off HRT.
GOFERIT!

Yes, actually it DOES taste like real coffee. The Dark Roast is a little strong for me, though, so I add soy milk to it. I just ordered more: Original Roast and Mocha. There are a lot of flavors, if you like flavored coffee (I don't).
SoyFee is TOTALLY healthy! It aids digestion, lowers blood cholesterol levels, PROMOTES GASTROINTESTINAL HEALTH, prevents bone loss and slows the advancement of osteoporosis, promotes healthy menopause (YAAY!), fights heart disease, promotes healthy prostrate, and prevents cancer, particularly COLON, rectal, and breast cancer!
Oh YEAH!

Yippeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! I just made my first pot of Soyfee and it was AMAZING. It tastes so much like coffee that if someone were to serve it to me at their home, I would never guess it was anything but coffee. I am even having a fake caffeine buzz here, even though I know there is no caffeine. I am SO HAPPY. My Acacia also arrived yesterday, and I took one dose last night. So far, so good. I was really sick this week because I was traveling, not preparing my own meals, and taking fibercon instead of citrucel, since I was out of citrucel and waiting for my acacia to arrive. Hopefully I will get back on track soon! I am just so happy about SOYFEE. Every sad ex-coffee drinker must try this stuff. Yum!

When I went shopping at the Health food store for some items, the girl there has IBS D just like me. She mentioned that soy might cause gas and D and suggested I go the rice milk route instead. Do you know if that's true or if the soyfee would increase the gas and D? I LOVE COFFEE, and actually cheat all the time b/c I can't resist it. That is probably one reason I have bouts of cramps and can't completely get over the IBS symptoms even on prescription meds. Any suggestions? Its sounds great, but I just wondered about the gas and D.

Soy "milk" products do make some people gassy, but I haven't had ANY problems with the Soyfee. I think it depends on the form of the soy. Soyfee does not contain any of the GI triggers found in traditional coffee, so your tummy should be much happier on this than on regular coffee. As an addicted coffee drinker from age 12 (no joke) I never thought I would be able to kick the habit, but the headaches and irritability were over in about a week, and it's so nice to have a healthy tummy again. I am loving this Soyfee and I hope you'll give it a try!

Which kind did you order? The dark roast is pretty strong. We're drinking the mocha now, and it's surprisingly good, but our favorite is the original roast. We've also ordered the chai, french vanilla, and house blend.
This stuff tastes EXACTLY like coffee. No kidding. You will be AMAZED! Hubby can't tell the difference; he's actually drinking "my" coffee now (the SoyFee) instead of his usual.
I'll be anxious to hear how you like it. Really, I'm just positive you're gonna be blown away. I was. I wasn't expecting much, especially after that awful Teeccino stuff, but WOW, what a surprise!
Oh yeah. You're gonna LOVE it!

Panda is right.
You need to stop drinking real coffee. I had a hard time getting off it, after having a 42-year addiction. It was tough -- I missed coffee more than anything, even my beloved chocolate. But then I discovered SoyFee.
SoyFee is a GODSEND! It AIDS IN DIGESTION. The gas and D -- I had it too -- and cramps as well -- can all be attributed to that real coffee you're drinking. When I gave up the coffee, I got rid of all my cramps and D.
I consume a LOT of soy: soy ice cream, soy milk, soy cheese, even soy butter. Sometimes soy sausage. Now soy coffee. AND, the more I drink it, the better for me. Not only does it aid digestion, but it lowers blood cholesterol levels, PROMOTES GASTROINTESTINAL HEALTH, prevents bone loss and slows the advancement of osteoporosis, promotes healthy menopause (yaay!), fights heart disease, promotes healthy prostrate, and prevents cancer, PARTICULARLY COLON, rectal, and breast cancer!
WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK? This stuff is FABULOUS!
Obviously soy doesn't bother me, but for some people with IBS it can. Try a little soy cheese or soy milk and see how you do with it. If it doesn't bother you, then I'd strongly suggest you order just a small bag of SoyFee and see if you're not blown away, like I am!

Thanks for the quick reply and the advice. Is the website for SoyFee the only place you can get it? It's not in any health food stores yet? I will try the soy milk first just to be sure that I feel ok, but it was encouraging (not that you had cramps and D) that it wasn't the C type instead. I am so paranoid about trying anything that will cause gas and D. I know that is a big part of the stress of having IBS in the first place. It's so great to talk to you all on this site. It really helps when others can give advice from firsthand experience. Thanks again.

How much soluble fiber supplement are you taking in? About a month ago, I discovered I had increased my dosage too much. I was having INCREDIBLE amounts of gas and extremely urgent D at the most inopportune times. As soon as I cut way back on my dosage of the SFS, I totally got rid of all the D -- AND the gas. I haven't had a fart since!
There are very few locations that carry SoyFee. If you e-mail them and give your Zip code, they can tell you the closest dealer that carries it: info@soycoffee.com I'm going to ask Marina (the President of the company) why she doesn't distribute it to health food stores, because it's incredible stuff and promotes health, which all HFS would welcome. Besides, I LOVE it, and I know others will too. My builder drinks Rocomojo, but I'm going to give him a sample of the SoyFee -- whatcha wanna bet, I'll make a believer out of him too!
Let me know how you make out on the website or by e-mail. Marina's terrific; she'll respond to your e-mail right away. Tell her I sent ya!

I'm really not taking in much fiber in any form at all. I've tried the soluble, but still too much gas, even when I take really low doses. I think I need to stop cheating on snacks I shouldn't have. Willpower might be the answer. When I feel the pain, I swear I'm going to behave myself, but that doesn't always happen. Thanks so much for your help and suggestions.
