So discouraged/confused

I have been on the diet for 3 weeks now and am up to 2 tsp.
twice a day of acacia. I am so constipated that I don't know what to do. I have added insoluble foods and done everything I have read and have even taken laxatives with no results! I took Herblax from Shaklee and then took Cascara Sagrada and no results...just have to take enemas..
I don't see how I can stay on the diet if it just compounds my constipation problem...any suggestions...??

Are you getting lots and lots of water? Any exercise?

Those are the only 2 I can think of. Here's is a pretty long thread that may have some ideas for you - I miss pooping.

Yes, I am getting a lot of water..but not very much exercise.
