Has anyone ever tried Molo-Cure? http://www.molocure.com/index.shtml

This product supposedly contains aloe vera agents that help alleviate digestive problems such as IBS, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease and other various digestive orders. If anyone has tried this product or know of someone who has, I would be interested to hear what they think.

Thanks ~ Mike

Hi Mike,
If you type in molocure on the search function, you should find some posts. I posted some info I had found on the web a couple of weeks ago but haven't tried it myself - sorry!

If it's any use, I take aloe vera that molo-cure is extracted from and it does help calm my stomach when taken regularly. It might be worth trying first as molo-cure is so expensive.

I don't think this product can really hurt, but it probably won't really help either. It's based on aloe vera, and some folks find that helpful for calming the GI tract - for others, though, aloe can trigger bad diarrhea. Also, things that will help IBD (such as Crohn's and ulcerative colitis) because they have anti-inflammatory properties aren't necessarily going to do anything for IBS, which is not caused by gut inflammation. If they're from natural sources, like the aloe (or other foods that have anti-inflammatory properties like fish oil capsules, flax oil, evening primrose, etc.) they shouldn't cause harm but again, they may not do much good for IBS either.

Best,
Heather

I tried biogenics aloe vera juice and after 1 tablespoon, it's at the back of the cupboard. It gave me the WORST cramping and D (I am ibs-d). Never again
