From constapation to diarrea, what did I do wrong?

I did everything Heather's website said. Now I'm running. I miss my favorite foods and I'm tired of the boring stuff. I've gone from IBS(C) to IBS(running). HELP!!!

take heart, maybe your body is just adapting to the new fibre intake. keep drinking water and tea. how long has tfhe diahorrea been going on? do you feel better in anyway? e.g less bloated?

I've been doing the fiber thing for 3 weeks now and for the past 2 days i've been running. I's this normal?? The bloating is still there but the cramps are gone for now.

Are you taking fibre supplements AND eating high insoluble fibre?

Hi - are you following the breaking the cycle diet, and just eating soluble fiber foods and taking soluble fiber supplements? There is just no way that should trigger diarrhea, unless you're having some type of reaction to an ingredient in the supplement. I'd stop the supplement and just stick to the soluble fiber foods and strong hot peppermint and/or fennel tea. Or try a supplement that has nothing in it but soluble fiber, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Also, have you been tested for celiac and inflammatory bowel disease?
