Heather thank you so much for your peppermint caps. I have been suffering with IBS for awhile now, most recently diagnosed. both IBSC and IBSD.. nice huh! I read your books and read everyone's posts... and immediately ordered your peppermint caps. I tried the teas but I get instant heartburn... but those caps are amazing! My bloating and gas went away in a few days and I have started to go back to the gym this week! I am not fully recovered from my most recent attack but I am feeling great right now... Thank you so much for your wisdom and eating tips. The diet is working out great and I am even losing weight!
There is hope everyone... There is hope.

Shirl, I was using the peppermint caps for awhile, but very soon developed terrible indigestion. Couldn't figure out what was causing it because my diet varied from day-to-day. Then I read in here about others who had a problem with the caps, so I stopped taking them -- and the indigestion went away. For good.
Too bad, because it's supposed to be a great anti-spasmodic. I hate using my strong meds (Donnatal) because they're dangerous, but my tummy really can't take the caps.
Yes, the caps are MUCH stronger than the tea.

I have not have any problems with Indigestion with the caps but the tea is horrible for me. I am sticking to decaf green tea. The caps put my stomach at ease and my potty habits are back to normal. It only took a week! I eat basically the BRAT diet still but I am starting to add soy and things to my diet slowly. Caps were wonderful for me, and they worked quite fast, as oppossed to Fibercon that takes forever to kick in. Good Luck!
