Hey girls. I need some advice. I have an appointment with a new GI doctor here on Thursday. I have the big D. I have been doing SO WELL. Except for when I get nervous/anxious/excited/etc. My stomach gets involved everytime! The "flood gates of the big D" are opened. My new "diet change" with Heathers advice has changed my life, except for when my head and gut are related! So I am off to a doctor Friday to see what he thinks. My husband calls on every GI doctor here in the state of Tennessee, except the city of Memphis. Tim has been telling them all about my problems with the "getting excited/nervous etc" and that causing my flare-ups now. Do you know that Tim says not one of them has the same form of therapy in mind for me! Ugggggg, so frustrating. What do you all reccomend. I am a charged up hyper person anyway///full of energy!!! , but I can't go on this way. I am sure he will want to put me on some meds for "calming me down", what do you all do? Seriously, I have to lead a VERY calm life not to upset things. Not very realistic with a 9 and 5 year old.............

Hiya,
Have you ever thought of trying the hypnosis tapes? I have just started them so don't know yet if they are working for me, but have heard really good things from other people that have gone through the whole program.

I agree with the hypnosis. I'm on my second round now, and my major trigger is anxiety/nervousness, etc. Well, first time around, amazing results, although not 100%. Yesterday, I had my first indication that second go round is working even more than round 1! I'm very excited! I say give it a go.

Hypnosis. I had the SAME problems, Girlfriend. Hypnosis came to my rescue. You'd be amazed at the difference in me! Hubby was, my friends were, and even I was (and am).

Michael's incredible. You won't be sorry!

That's great! I'm so glad you're seeing even more improvement the second go around. Very encouraging.

Wow! This is TERRIFIC! I'm curious if you're up for sharing what this indication was? If not, that's cool--it makes me happy just knowing you're doing better! And to think, I thought you were just perfect before...who knew you could be even perfect?!

*hugs*

Thanks Jen & Ruchie!

I don't mind sharing the indication - I just didn't want to bore anyone with the details! lol

The other day I had to go to a meeting off-site for work. This is something that still made me anxious - being stuck in a meeting. It's more restricting than being in a restaurant or something where you can just go where you please, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I drove over there, waited for the meeting to start, and everything was fine. Meeting started, and I started thinking, "Cool, I'm not worried one bit!" Well, of course that started me up some, so I got pissed off at myself for getting that way, told myself to get over it, and it went away. I swear sometimes I feel like I'm a tad bit schizophrenic! LOL Anyway, I made it through the rest of the meeting (1 1/2 hours) with no problem. To me, that was an indication it's working.
