Shirl, I'm IBS-C, 3 days ago I swithed from Metamucil (which I found out causes bloating) to Benefiber and there has been SUCCESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the info. I don;'t mind trying benefiber all I want to know is will it do the "same" as metamucil? That is my concern. p.s. off topic lol I see your from NC that is where I am moving hopefully end of the month.

"same" as in what? The Metamucil was not helping me go to the bathroom, with Benefiber I have. By the way...I am aslo taking Zelnorm, but the change actually happened when I switched to Benefirber. North Carolina is a nice place to call home...everyone is very friendly here. Good luck!

lol I mean the same as in NOT getting constipated. Beigna able to go to the bathroom regularly. Make sense? When I went to the doc he told me to not go off of metamucil. I too am on zelnorm just started again. I am also on dicetel. The thing I worry about is the fibre to stay "regular" after having 3 hospital visits for beingvery "full" so you can see how I can be paranoid.
