I've had diharrea since about 7:30 last night, was nauscious(sp)? all night long also, my back and head really hurt and I have an empty stomach (which also still hurts). What can I take to get some relief? I feel horrible and have to go to a 7:45 chem lab!

I would just try some plain toast, that helps me alot when im feeling yucky, but it sounds like to me you have a stomach bug. Or did youeat something that would cause it

Hi - this does sound like it might be a bug and not IBS, but regardless the breaking the cycle diet should help you feel better web page

Thank you all. Went to the doctor and she gave me a fancy name for the basic stomach flu. I've had some plain toast and been able to hold it down and have drank some water. Feeling a little better, still not sure if I want to go to night class though..

Hi there, I just had this happen to me Sunday night. I woke up with the runs and that never happens where I wake up out of a dead sleep with that! So I was thinking maybe I had a touch of something especially since I was eating so good all weekend. I'm doing better now after some Immodium but still my stomach is so gurgly like I don't know what's gonna happen next!

I had some chicken gumbo soup in a bread bowl tonight, stomach is making some noise but that seems to be it, so hopefully i'm back to normal... well as normal as I can get anyway!

How are you doing today rosiechica? I'm glad it wasn't serious and that you're on way to be being better....but boy, those stomach bugs sure are a PAIN! Did you make it to night class in the end?

Feel good!

*hugs*

I'm better today, stomach still feels a little empty, but I can solve that easy enough. I could have gone to night class but I had a medical excuse for the whole day so I thought I would just sit home and watch a movie with my fiance.

Rosie, glad you're feeling a little better. Those stomach bugs are horrible. Btw, I don't blame you for staying home from class... who wants to leave home when you're sick??
