I am learning in my old age how to bake!
I would like to know if pure vanilla extract with alcohol is safe to bake with.
It's the alcohol content I am concerned about. What happens to it when I bake something? Can I use vanilla extract with alcohol?
If not, is there a vanilla extract that Heather could recommend that is safe and doesn't have alcohol? Hopefully I can get it in Toronto, Canada

There is a minimal amount of alcohol since you use small amounts of extract, even if using generously. And the alcohol will cook off with heat as well.
Same holds true for all other baking extracts - almond, peppermint, etc. enjoy!
XOXO Heather

Thank you so much, Heather. I was nervous about eating the cookies I baked with a teaspoon of vanilla. But now I will enjoy them. :-)
