After trying out some other diets I am back for good! Anyway, I have a couple of concerns listed below that keep coming up in my mind. If anyone knows the answers to these it would certainly give me peace of mind.
1. Does this diet stop working after years of being on it? I have heard that fiber supplements can stop working after years of use. 2. Is the fennel in the tummy tamers high in FODMAPS.
Thank you in advance for replies!
Take care,
Andrew

Hi Andrew!
The diet changes for IBS shouldn't stop working, and fiber supplements certainly wouldn't. You might find you have to tweak your fiber supp dose every once in a while, especially something sets off symptoms. That's not so uncommon.
If that happens, just gradually increase your fiber supp dose until you are stable again. Doesn't usually take too much.
The Tummy Tamers have fennel oil in them. Oil is pure fat, and FODMAPS are short chain carbohydrates. You can't have a carb in a fat, or vice versa. Anything that is pure fat (or pure protein, for that matter) would by definition have no carbs, and thus no FODMAPs.
