I've been doing quite well (dare i say normal?) lately and i've been trying food that i previously wouldn't have considered. Last night I had a Spicy Italian sub from subway. Both last night and this morning I had to go more frequently and more urgently than normal. (although nothing approaching a previous IBS attack)

The bread is safe, right? And the veggies? What about the meat and cheese?

What is the meat? If it's beef or pork, it's not safe. Cheese is also unsafe. Some vegetables can also be problematic. The beef alone would do me in.

Salami and pepperoni are usually beef or pork, so that might be your problem. I can tolerate pork now, but I could not the first year. Beef, I just don't go near anymore.

IBS is an odd thing. Some days, you may be able to tolerate something, and the next day, the same thing may cause problems. Hope you're feeling better today.

see how you do with a roasted turkey breast or chicken breast sub instead, no mayo or oil but mustard is fine.
