My tummy has been so persnickety and my digestion so weak that my doctor is advising me to try drinking Ensure to guarantee that I am getting enough calories and nutrients. However, I am very resistant to consume something so synthetic, and I am extremely sensitive to dairy and soy. Has anyone come across a similar nutrient-dense supplement that is allergen-free and easily assimilated? Thanks.

they are not meal replacement drinks as Ensure is, but they have 400 calories per bottle and a nice balance of carbs/proteins/fats.
They are made from rice and nuts, they are really high in soluble fiber, and really tolerable for IBS. I love them when I need a quick meal in a glass on the run.
Pecan, Hazelnut, and Almond flavors are all delicious. Whole Foods and other health food stores carry them, or if you have Amazon Fresh delivery in your area they have them as well.
Best, H

I tried one of these drinks, I was so excited when I heard about them. I had maybe 1/5 of the bottle and got sick from it. I was a little nervous about it because of the brown rice in it which I dont usually do well with. I felt so gassy from it, do you think it is from the brown rice? Is there one with just white rice? thank you..

I have 1 of these with breakfast everyday for about a year. I order a dozen at a time (chocolate almond) from the whole foods market. Taste great and supply needed calories.
Cheers

I am very interested in these drinks, but so far have been unable to locate them. I went to the Grainaissance website to try and locate them in my area, but my email was bounced back and the telephone number on the site was disconnected. Are people still finding these drinks somewhere? I'm hoping I didn't discover this company too late!

As far as I know they're still around - sure hope so! Whole Foods has always carried at least some of the flavors.

I have tried contacting the company but their email, 800 number and regular telephone number no longer work. Perhaps they have gone out of business.
Do they tell you on the label how much insoluble fiber the product contains from the brown rice and nuts?

Thanks.
Can you tell me the volume? I order to calculate the percent fiber I need to know the volume. I would guess it is around 240 ml so the % fiber would be about 2% fiber much of which will be insoluble fiber.

Yes, 237 ml. Is 2% very high?
Cheers.
