Ive noticed recently that when I eat some fruits, like apples and peaches, my lips itch and burn for a short time afterward. Is this because of the acidity, or am I allergic to these fruits? Should I avoid these and any other fruits because the allergies could irritate my system?
Thanks

and actually get tested for these allergies. Food allergies can escalate and if severe can actually lead to anaphylactic shock, so you need to know if you have this risk. If you do, you'd want to avoid those foods.

Let me know if you find out anything about this. I experience the same with apples, nectarines, kiwi, and certain kinds of cherries.
