Taking COLACE for stool softener....let me tell you panic disorder/ibs and anal fissures/hemmoroids are a lethal mix!
The COLACE seems to be causing stomach pain...urgency to go to bathroom.....diarhhea feeling...is this common?

I use it all the time. It helps me. What is your dosage? You could be taking a bit too much.

Stomach pain, D and cramping are reported side-effects of Docusate (aka Colace). You might ask your doctor if there is an alternative softener.

im taking 100mg......also taking a special cream that i apply to anus to reduce blood pressure.....supposedly reduces pressure on the fissure.....nifedipene....that could be causing something also.......i feel like i have a ton of gas.......and cant relieve myself like i use to since i cant push anymore since that caused the fissure to begin with....ugggghh

I take 100-200 mg in the evening. Sounds like the dosage is OK. Maybe you just cannot tolerate it.
