The only broth I used was Rachael rays chicken stock I was getting it at wal-mart and now they quit carry it! Almost all my recipes call for broth. I never had a prolbem with this broth and it was afforable. I can't afford the broth from the heath food stores & evey other broth has msg in it. I am so upset I am so sick of going to town and finding nothing for ibs people to eat it has either msg or hfcs in it! If anyone has any suggestions I would appericate it! Thanks

can you get Kitchen Basics? It does not have MSG in it. I just bought Rachel Ray's broth at Walmart a few days ago, I hope our store doesn't stop carrying it. When I lived in IL I shopped at Jewel or Meijers and both carried Kitchen Basics.

in your area, they should have a powdered veggie broth, and also powdered chicken-flavor veggie broth. They won't have HFC or MSG.

Also, the big health food stores tend to carry their own brand of broths in aseptic boxes for pretty good prices.

If broth has chicken stock in it, would it still be safe (since chicken stock is rich and usually has onion juice).

Say it was the 5th of 10 ingredients...safe?

I use Imagine Organic No-Chicken broth. I buy it in the regular supermarket. It is a veggie broth, but the array of broths in the stores now is abundant. I don't know about Walmart since I don't shop there. You don't have to shop at a HFS to find what you need.

I also make my own. Why don't you try that and that way you control the ingredients.

I always have prolbems finding what I need at the store. I live in a very little town thats has nothing so I stock up when I do go to whole foods. Walmart has nothing but maybe besides ground turkey chicken and bread.
