Can anyone help me with the fennel tea. Every time I drink it all I think of is sausage. To me it tastes horrible. If anyone can offer any tricks other than honey, sugar, lemon, or orange I would greatly appreciate it.

Ugghh. I had the same problem with it at first. You will get used to the taste, but I had to chug the first couple of glasses before I could drink it comfortably. It's like beer or wine, it's an acquired taste, I guess. The only mixers I can think of are the ones you mentioned. I myself like the peppermint teas soooooo much better!

Yeah, it's definitely an acquired taste. I don't mind it myself, although I'm not crazy about it. To spice it up a bit I add another tea bag with my favorite tea flavor (so I end up having two tea bags in my cup). The mug I drink from actually hold two cups so the final brew isn't too strong. Right now I'm actually sipping a fennel/apple-cinnamon tea .

Ooooh that sounds good. Where do you find those great flavored teas?

I just buy them in my local grocery store, they seem to have a more varied selection of fruit-flavored herbal teas here. But back in the US I used to get the Celestial Seasonings brand, they have a good selection of flavors and made the fennel tea a lot more tasty .

it will taste just like plain mint but you'll still get the benefits of the fennel.
