Can you put acacia in your water bottle?

Heather, or anyone who knows - does it matter if you take your acacia dose for the day in a couple of sittings, or can you put it in a water bottle that you drink throughout the day? In other words, does it work the same if you are getting a little fiber over time, or does it need to be a larger amount at a time? It's just so easy to put in the water bottle at the beginning of the day and know that by the afternoon you've taken your fiber and don't have to worry about forgetting it or what to put it in! But maybe it doesn't work in your intestines well spread out like that?

I take mine like this, and it seems to work really well for me. I take 1 Tbsp in the morning before breakfast, 1 Tbsp throughout the day in my water bottle, then one more Tbsp at night before bed. I've been thinking about upping the amount in my water bottle too, maybe decreasing the other times.
