Hi,

I was just wondering if corn meal is an SF or IF? I've gotten mixed information on this. The reason I ask is because my daily cereal is an organic corn meal cereal, which I thought was safe. But I've been on (what I thought) was the safe diet for a week and am still have a lot of D. Could the corn meal be IF? And what about brown rice? Thanks in advance for the info.

Julie

but usually the insoluble fiber is very finely ground, so quite tolerable. Check the recent newsletter here http://www.helpforibs.com/news/newsletter/07/040307.html#askheather for whole grain info.

Best,

So it's ok to eat it when you first start out on the diet?
