Is there a formula for figuring out the fat content percentage when you only have calorie content and total fat gram content? I know how to do it when you have the calories from fat, thanks to Heather, but many recipes and restaurants don't break it down that far.

Multiply the number of fat grams by 9. This will give you the total number of fat calories (fat has nine calories per gram). Then you can figure the ratio of fat calories to total calories.
