Is Fiberclear (resistant maltodextrin) an acceptable soluble fiber for most IBS people?

Hi - I haven't heard of this brand. I did a quick search and found the product but not the soluble/insoluble breakdown. I found a link about maltodextrin here web page and what's interesting is that they're classifying it as a carbohydrate, not a fiber, so I'm not really sure what to say about the "resistant" maltodextrin in the Fiberclear. My instinct is that it is somehow the soluble fiber extracted from the maltodextrin carb, and in that case should be a good product to try.

Okay, did another search, and found this web page

I'd say give this a shot - please let me know how your daughter does.
