Can't STABILIZE (an Understatement). I had actually stopped the Levbid & went back to the Phenegran(promenthazine) 1 wk ago Fri nite and was able to go out Sat and felt pretty good & NO PAIN.
Was pretty good for a couple days thru Wed. and am still staying on REALLY bland diet, rice, chic nood soup, pots, chic breast, carrots, oatmeal, bananas. Had a banana smoothie which tasted great.....but don't know if it was good for me. Made it w/rice milk tho. Don't touch milk !!!
You'll see what a time I'm having w/the GI & his PA......in the other post mentioned above!!!

Anyway it seems when I don't go EVERY day!!! which happens every couple of days.......!!!, happens even tho on fiber daily and oatmeal every other day, then I get terrible pains and have to go quite a few times often ending in D still. Been going on since July 4 when I tasted beans..........!!!! I should have KNOWN BETTER!!! That's why I'm SOOOO AFRAID of SOY Products.

By the way, Tofutti that goes into that alfredo sauce is fr. soy right????

Get dizzy, weak, feel like I'm shaking inside etc. and yest. did go out even tho I didn't feel great, but got sharp pains in lower right abdomen where I ALWAYS have the pain. HAVE BEEN ON COUCH SLEEPING ALL DAY except for going!! AM TO THE POINT WHERE I ACTUALLY CAN"T FUNCTON!!!! This has gotten me sooooo weak from going on since early JULY. This was even with the Phenegran(Promenthazine).
Didn't even feel like eating.....tho usually feel better w/stomach feeling full. Had some BREAD, a couple or more slices Italian, & chic nood soup. Later at home, had some pasta w/a bit of lo-fat marg. on it which never has bothered me a far as I know over the years.
Today toast, a bit of chic nood soup for lunch & chick breast, baked pot & a few carrots for dinner which I lst fortified w/a slice of Italian bread. Feeling somewhat better now.........but this just GOES ONE & ON LIKE THIS, cept for the stabbing pains! Had a little one after taking the promenthazine today.........but THAT'S ALL!

SCARRY........cause I just feel like I'm getting weaker & weaker. I GET TIRED SO EASILY WALKING ARD and INVARIABLy have to go when I'm walking ard.!!! Know I'm not getting the proper food!

See fr. the Metabolism & lipid panel my internist did that my calcium is low. Not real low....abt 8.0 whereas normal starts at 8.4. Had started taking calcium carbonate already for the D. THINK it's helping....but as I mentioned in here someplace still have the EXTREME URGENCY WHEN OUT WALKING ARD. Doesn't have to be preceeded by eating!

She (Internist) said electrolytes were fine........but I don't see anything on the blood test results abt electrolytes!!! Noticed this when I got the gluten test sheet fr. the GI----- it mentioned the Metab, Lipid & ELECTROLYTE PANEL. Wondering abt this???

GI found 3 small polyps........said everything else was fine. Now I see in a post that the colonoscopy checks the small intestine? Is that correct?. I didn't think that was true. Can someone tell me abt this question. Had that on 9/24 and can't get the lab info till Wed/Thurs. which w/be 3 wks or more.

Have a few Librax & wonder if I should take them? Think the take by date has pass a couple mos ago tho. Anyone else ever have stabbing pains?

Feel Hopeless & that Emergency would only send me back to them......!

Have to take my hubby there for a colonoscopy Wed.(I managed to get him in cause the dr. that was supposed to do it cancelled a while ago)! Don't know HOW I'm gonna manage that!!!! He wouldn't EVEN know what the GI lookeds like if he hadn't been with me............! He only saw the PA!!!

No luck as yet getting into other GI's earlier than Mid Nov as yet!!!!

Marnie, try this soup it helped me.
Chicken breast tenders and baby carrots, salt to taste.
boil in distilled water.
boil chicken and salt approx. 20 min or until done add carrots and boil about 15mins.
Drink distilled water and use it until you stabelize.
Drink chamomile tea all day, it will relax you and the tummy and increase your appetite.
For breakfast have it and some rice cooked. and for lunch
have it and some sourdough bread. Dinner the same. It will last in the frig. about 4 days. In 4 days you should stablelize and start adding back to your diet slowly.
Hope this can help. Hope you feel better.

Hi
I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. This hasn't been an easy road for me either. When I'm really bad off, I go clear liquids only. Stuff such as beef or chicken broth, juices, teas, water. Maybe I'll get brave and have a saltine cracker or two with the broth (it feels more like food then). I have to do this for a few days and then slowly add mild food (low fat and low residue) back into the system.
I feel for you and hope you feel better soon

Thanks Sherr,

Guess it's time for me to give the system a rest. That soup sounds good, the tea, etc.

Then did you add the fiber in again little by little?

Thanks for caring. Glad you are doing well now........

Hi, yes add back the fiber slowly, like in the morning a 1/2
banana or a couple of slices. Maybe a peeled peach with lunch a couple of slices, or some avocado again not at all at once but what doesn't irratate you and try to eat the same way everyday for a few days and then add different to your diet and use Heather's guide insoluble and soluble and
mis match your fiber parts. Once you stablelize try drinking soy milk 1/4 cup at a time with meals gets more nutrients. Glad to share some of things I do. Feel better soon, I know you will.

Tks. Betsy.
Have taken yours and Sherr's advice and laid low (ugh) on food and seems to be helping. It's awful when you feel like that isn't it.
REALLY appreciate the advice and the caring.
Hope you are feeling well and STAY STABILIZED!!!

Oh my god! That sounds horrible. Have you been tested to see if you have a gluten allergy? That's when you are allergic the protein found in wheat(flour). It's in ALL sorts of products, one of those little hidden ingredients. Get tested !!!
