internal cleaning through colon hydrotherapy Does it work?

My health food store offers this service and swears my IBS will be cured if I do three sessions. I did one today and it was water running in your rectum and out to a tube. It really hurt. They swear I will get better. Anyone ever heard of this?

I believe there have been previous discussions on this, so you might want to do a search. I don't have experience with this because my understanding is that such cleansings actually aggravate and make your IBS worse. Unfortunately, there is no cure for IBS since researchers and specialists haven't even been able to find an organic cause. I'm sorry.  Did you speak to your doctor or gastroenterologist about this?
