Has anyone tried Digestive Enzymes for less gas and bloating?
I saw them in a Health Food Store's flyer. They are called Udo's Digestive Enzymes. It's capsules that are a blend of ten active plant based enzymes. It breaks down carbs, fats, proteins, sugars, resulting in less gas and bloating and it improves nutrient absorption , and increases energy levels and it reduces hunger. Would they be safe without any side effects and would it be ok to take with a IBS drug? I'm taking Dicetel. I'd love to take them since I have severe bloating, gas, fatique. Thanks.
God Bless

Hi,
I take the one put out by Twin Labs. I find it to be very good for the stomach, but notning much helps the bloating! GasX or Phayzym is about all you can take.

Not directly but it makes your stomach feel good. For the gas I think you need those "chew types" I mentioned. A friend of mine has her own method for getting rid of gas. She says she lies on her stomach for a while and it works!!!!!

It helps to lie on your back (on the floor or in bed) and hold onto one bent knee with the other leg straight. Hold one leg and then switch legs after a few minutes. This is a yoga pose called "the wind relieving posture".

I take Phazyme but it doesn't help a lot with the gas and bloating. My stomach is huge! I have severe gas pains, cramps, pressure, fullness too! Nothing is taking it away! I'll start lying on my stomach. I never knew that helps gas.
Thanks.
