Link: Man has a brain in here... (from The Telegraph).

Talks about how the gut is actually close to resembling another brain, and how biotics (pro/pre) might one day cure or atleast greatly help sufferers of IBS/IBD and other gut issues.

Interesting read.

Sorry if this is not posted in the right place, but i don't have post access to IBS Research...

PS: I get about 2-5 articles a day releating to IBS & research, do people want me to post the more interesting & informative articles here or somewhere else?

/c

Thanks for posting this link - it looks very interesting and, as I live in the UK, I will try and hear the radio programme mentioned:

"Geoff Watts is the presenter of a three part BBC Radio 4 series, Gut Reactions, beginning on January 19 at 9pm"

About posting other articles, perhaps it would be a good idea to email Heather about it first? If she is okay with it, I think it would be great.

I signed up to get any article that has the words "Irritable Bowel Syndrome" and got the same article in my email this morning. I have found some pretty interesting articles that way.

Actually, I have numerous sources for articles, my company specializes in Intelligence Gathering for Corperations, and our software is built with gathering intel via news & web in mind, so I use it to track IBS & other information I am interested in One of my sources is Yahoo, as well as googleNews, and about 2 dozen other news engines.
