Why is it that some people recommend the opposite of yours -- i.e. the Specific Carbohydrate Diet? I don't think I'm going to try it, but it's really confusing to see so much conflicting advice. Right now, I'm desperate to find something -- anything -- I can tolerate (I have terrible hemorrhoids, am fluctuating between D and C despite taking Citrucel). It's all very depressing and paralyzing.
