Immodium and fiber supplements

Does anyone out there know about taking immodium when an acute attack comes on while you are taking fiber supplements? I had been on Benefiber for about 4 weeks gradually increasing Benefiber to 1 T 2x a day when I got a Dia. attack but it was not severe. I was afraid to take Immodium which is what I used to do before I began taking Benefiber. Has anyone had a case of diarrhea while taking Benefiber? If so, can you take Immodium when an attack comes or will it stop you up? Anyone had experience with this? Thanks for your help!

Thanks, Heather. How long did you have to take the supplements on a regular basis?
