Hello to everyone! I'm turning the tables in this week's newsletter, and asking for everyone's suggestions for issues they'd like to see addressed in upcoming "Ask Heather" columns. Virtually all of the past columns have come from questions I hear asked over and over again, but I'm always open to new ideas, so let me have 'em!
Please post your question IN THE SUBJECT LINE of your reply to this message. A single sentence is best, and please remember that questions have to be applicable to lots of other folks in order to be a good choice for the column.
Some examples that have already come up for future columns:
Pregnancy, Hormones, Menopause and IBS
Men and IBS
All About Gluten
Low Fat vs. Fat Free Diet Issues
Eating Disorders and IBS
Feel free to second any of these suggestions, or offer up any of your own!
Please note that I won't be able to answer these questions right now on the boards, I'll just be addressing the topics as future "Ask Heather" columns.
Thanks,
Heather

I have heard that I should be targeting approx 22 grams of fiber per day in my diet. Is this right? How much of this total do you recommend come in the form of soluble fiber? Does this include SF supplements, or are the supplements in addition to the soluble fiber foods that I eat normally?
