How long before a meal should you take soluble fiber supplements? The liquid kinds start coating and absorbing right away, but what about the pill kind (ie. fibercon etc)? Do they need time to disolve for awhile before you eat?

Hi - You can take them immediately before a meal. For me, they seem to work best that way (even the pills).

I take the Citracel tablets, and you are suppose to drink a glass of water after you take them, right? Thats what I have been doing, but I haven't been guzzling the water down because I don't want to run to the bathroom to pee every 5 minutes!

Leanne -
You will only have to pee frequently when you first start drinking alot of water...after awhile your body will be completed with the body cleansing and it will accept the water and you will return to your normal peeing schedule.
Honestly! I just started drinking alot of water about 2 weeks ago. When I first started I was a bit annoyed with the frequent bathroom breaks required, but now I am back to my normal routine.
Just bear with it! I love my water now! It always makes me feel better when I am feeling a little sick - I just drink the water and start to feel alot better.
I suggest if you don't like you tap water get a water cooler - totally worth the purchase
